The second in a three part series on the theme of Chinese Landscapes. This time, the landscape is re-conceptualized as the geography of the face. It is a critical view of the type of stereotypes in cinematic history that included Mickey Rooney's portrayal of Mr.Yunioshi in Breakfast at Tiffany's--a caricature which many have deemed racist for its taped eyes and buck teeth. This is an examination of the remnants of these stereotypes and its potential subversiveness.
